This one is angsty, tumultuous, it invoked a tidal wave of emotions for me and I’m so thrilled that Ian and Grace found their happy ever after! I can’t wait for book 3. It was a hard, arduous journey for him and he’s easily become one of my favorite bad boys! Ian had to learn how to fight…fight for love, for a second chance, for forgiveness but he also needed to learn how to feel deserving of all if that. And my poor Ian, the ultimate anti-hero! Gah! Do you ever wonder how one person can be so cruel to another? I’ll never understand that. I bow down to her ability to be a sweet, loving, caring, forgiving person even after enduring atrocities. But Grace was so incredibly strong for her babies. And sometimes, the monsters under the bed are real. If you’re a mother (or really anyone who has a heartbeat), you’ll understand the fierce need to protect your kids. Jackson managed to tear my heart out with these two characters, just tore it right out of my chest until I was bleeding all over the floor!
